Youth Development Clinics

Providing participants an opportunity to learn fundamentals of basketball and life. Participants learn life-values through a combination of basketball instruction and life-skills stations.

Some of these stations include Conflict Resolution, Writing Skills Workshops, Communication Skills, Substance Abuse Education, and Study Skills. High school coaches teach the basketball instruction and community leaders and teachers teach the life-skills stations.

Youth participants attentively listen to a speaker at a Youth Development Clinic in Washington, D.C. at Gonzaga College High School.

Community Coaching Clinics

Clinics will be provided to area organizations that will help youth coaches learn the fundamentals and principles of coaching. These clinics enable the foundation to leverage its efforts by sharing and teaching coaches to provide more effective guidance and instruction for their players.

Grant Assistance

Providing grant assistance for financially needy youth who are dedicated to growing as student-athletes and as people.

A Youth Development Clinic in Slidell, Louisiana offers the opportunity for children to not only learn basketball skills on the court, but also to hear educational talks in the classroom.

 

Washington Metropolitan Basketball Hall of Fame Dinner

The Hall of Fame Dinner pays tribute to the rich basketball tradition in the Washington, DC Area.  The money raised from the dinner goes toward grant assistance financially troubled youth.
